C4CM™ qualifications are based on the latest working practice in managing change using best practice in Portfolio, Programme and Project Management. They are specifically designed to increase your capability to deliver successful change.

They are structured to provide you with useful knowledge and skills from each Award whilst building up a body of knowledge that can lead to a higher qualification. Our assessment methods enable us to offer a very high standard of accreditation for which the modules may be combined for a significant academic award.

To provide you with the widest choice of learning we have Accredited Partner Training Organisations who deliver classroom based courses leading to C4CM™ qualifications. If you are unable to find a class based course to suit you, or you prefer the convenience of self study, many of our courses are available online and can be bought from the modules described below.

Programme Management Overview,  Approx 20 guided learning hours

This award explores Best Practice in Programme Management. It introduces the language of Programme Management and provides an opportunity for the candidate to explore the application of key concepts and products in Programme Management to your organisation.

Project Management Overview,  Approx 20 guided learning hours

This award introduces best practice in Project Management. It covers the language of Project Management and provides an opportunity for you to explore the application of key concepts and skills in Project Management to an activity in your organisation.

Programme Office,  Approx 20 guided learning hours

This award explores Best Practice in Programme Office operation and management. It introduces the language of the Programme Office and provides an opportunity to explore the application of key concepts in Programme Office operation and management to your organisation.

Business Change Manager Introduction,  Approx 20 guided learning hours

This award introduces Best Practice in the Business Change Manager role based on the Managing Successful Programmes framework. It provides an opportunity for you to explore key concepts and apply them to your organisation. The language and tools of the Business Change Manager are introduced in a consistent structure.

Principles

Benefits Management,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award sets out to bring definition and discipline to business change through effective Benefits Management. It covers the role of benefits in programme and project design; identifying, mapping and analysing benefits; and planning and tracking benefits realisation. You will gain a thorough understanding of this critical aspect of achieving programme and project management success.

People and Change,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award introduces a basic framework for thinking about the impact of change on people using individual, team, and organisation as a structure. It presents a set of useful models and theories that help understanding of change and shows how change can be managed effectively in an organisation. You would not be expected to have any background in change theory. Some tools for managing the impact of change on people are explored.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award introduces you to the need for stakeholder engagement in organisational change and how to do it. It covers the engagement process, identifying stakeholders and tools for analysing them and their needs, setting communication objectives, designing communications activities and collecting feedback. The purpose and content of a stakeholder engagement strategy is introduced.

Risk Management,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award introduces the basis of Risk Management in change using industry Best Practice and a practical approach to effective implementation. You should have some overview knowledge of the change process in an organisation.

Vision and Blueprint Design,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award demonstrates the need for Vision and Blueprint documents in managing organisational change. It includes the requirements and structure of a good Vision statement and the structure and use of a Blueprint.

Planning and Estimating,  Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award aims to improve the quality of planning in Projects and Programmes delivering change. It introduces the basic concepts and terminology of planning for Projects and Programmes and provides practice in their use. Planning activities are placed in the context of planning, monitoring and control.

Maturity Model or Assurance Assessor, Approx 30 guided learning hours

This award will enable you to plan and undertake an assurance assessment of part of an organisation using an appropriate maturity model in order to evaluate a capability within the organisation. The award can be applied to maturity models in Portfolio Programme and Project Management, Procurement, Software Development, etc. The focus for the online course is on assessment of assurance in a project or a programme delivering change.
